Printed Books in the Digital Age: A reading and discussion with Jonathan Simons, founding editor of offline publishing house Analog Sea

Analog Sea are an offline publisher wishing to maintain contemplative life in the digital age. Their mission is to support offline culture by publishing high-quality printed books and a biannual journal which aims to spark conversations of an artistic and philosophical nature.

We are extremely pleased to welcome founding editor Jonathan Simons to Scarthin Books for a reading and conversation with our own Les Hurst discussing topics relating to offline culture and the printed word. The evening will be an exploration into the effects of carving out offline space in our lives, and how our use of technology impacts on the way we think, dream, and create.

The event will take place in the Art Room and begins at 7pm. Ticket prices are £5 and include a drink. Advanced booking only, please call the bookshop on 01629 823272 to reserve a place.

Accessibility:There are 16 steps to the cafe and Art Room, and a further 14 steps to the bathroom.
