Highly acclaimed local crime writer, Stephen Booth, will be here to sign copies of his latest Cooper & Fry novel, Secrets of Death (hardback, event price of £16). He'll be chatting to visitors and signing copies of the book between 2.30pm-4.30pm. Cromford lies where the Peak limestone dips below the shales of the Derwent Valley and the gritstone of Black Rocks. Come and see what can we can grow on our rocky terraces and moist valley plots. This year, gardens are supplemented by pallet gardens planted by village groups and individuals - please vote for your favourite pallet. The leaflet indicates which sites require good balance and sure footwork. Some participants will be offering light or substantial refreshment along with artworks…
